yep, my buddy works at a shop, its something really generic... he pumped a 20oz coke bottle full of it for me.

believe it or not, its very comparable to a cheap armorall ripoff with a little more gloss. i was able to achieve the same results by rubbing a bunch of armorall in twice, then rubbing some tire wet on top. lasted for about 2 weeks with two rainy days too

not sure what they use, but my body shop asked me what I use when I took my car in a few weeks ago. I told them as Im telling you, Eimann Fabrik Black Opal Tire Dressing. It just sprays on. http://www.properautocare.com/bl-32.html

sorry for going OT...but just out of curiosity....does TOO MUCH tireshine softens the sidewall?

the reason I ask is.....sometimes I wash my car as much as twice a week...and everytime I wash it, I apply tire gloss on my tires (Eagle Wet One).....and sometimes I add alot....anybody know if this softens/damages the sidewall of the tire?

Does most stealerships sponge on or spray on the tire shine?

I like meguiar's high endurance tire gel. I just use a spounge to rub it in, then give it a light buff with a cotton rag.. I love the look it gives (a nice deep black clean look, without too much gloss), and doesn't sling at all. Lasts quite awhile, and is cheap too. After an hour when its had some time to dry, I check to see if there's any areas I didn't apply enough too and recoat as needed, then it looks great for a few weeks.
