SeaFoam right place?

I am about to dump some seafoam into my car, I found this guide but just want to be 100% sure.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....6&page=2&pp=30

It has this as reference:

Once I have the hose off I just poor it into the break vacume booster, at the blue cicle once you pull the hose off there is a little spout that leads to the break vacume booster. It’s a VERY small opening and like I said just want to be 100%

Am I supposed to poor into the hose @ the blue end with the goal of getting it to the red circle to on?

My car runs perfectly and Seafoam isn't available where I live. I don't think I'll go out of my way to find it, unless my car starts to run real crappy down the road.

The owners manual and Haynes say not to use any of this crap.

Just think people! You want it to get sucked into the engine, so pour such that it'll get sucked into the engine. That diagram even has an arrow pointing to the engine with a caption "to engine".

By the way, it is 'pour', not 'poor'.

just take that hose off at the BLUE connection, then put some sea foam in a small dish or something and let it SLOWLY sip it up, you wont need to pour it, it has quite alot of suction and will be able to pull it up on its own

Thanks for the help guys, just did it and it worked perfectly, after sucking it in I let it sit for about 20-25 min, started her up (with a little trouble) and there was smoke everywhere… clean engine and a show

I originally thought the arrow saying to engine was just there to give you orientation, I was not 100% that was the direction of the suction, but like I said I figured it out and it went perfectly, hard to tell for sure but I would say it’s a smoother ride then before.
