Omg Help

I SCREWED UP!!!! I pumped my gas and went through an automatic touchless car wash. I pulled out an noticed my gas door and cap were not on. AHHHHHHH What do you think the chances of a lot of water getting into my tank. And what do you think is going to happen.

Should not be that bad.....put a bottle of HEET in it.

I had that happen to me when i had my Integra... just put a bottle of HEET in the tank.. it comes in a yellow bottle. It works well... dont drive around too much before u put that in the tank.. you'll be fine once its in the tank

You left....both the cap AND the door open? Damn dude...

Well, when you think about it, the gas cap is recessed into the car, so I doubt that much water got into it.

Thanks for all your help.... I guess it is Ok. I had went through the wash cause I was leaving to go out of town and just wanted a quick wash. I put the Heet in there and it is ok hopefully.

for situations like this, wouldit be wise to use an octane booster so as to help it burn better?

I don't think it's that bad. Remember, you have to push down on a spring loaded metal thing to get into the tank also.

The new Maxi's dont have that, I checked I wish they did though.
