Royal Purple has shown time and again to be an inferior oil for anything over 3k change intervals and it's not a great oil for that 3k interval. Mobil 1, Amsoil, Redline and Neo all outperform RP, especially in longer drain intervals.

It is a group III oil. I have no idea how RP can continue to charge such outrageous prices for their oil.
