Cleanup Question

I'm trying to get my car back to the "new car" feel..

so i've changed my oil, my spark plugs, built my own intake (don't ask) and i need to do a tranny flush (but that'll be a seperate post)

my question is this.. i hear a lot of good things about Seafoam.. put some in the brake booster, oil, and gas, but being that i just did an oil change about 300 miles ago i won't be putting any in the oil or brake booster because the gunk will mix with the oil (according to the posts).

But aside from that i was looking at this product: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/wyattarp...4kfuelsys.html

theres a big thread about it posted about a year ago (just do a search for bg44 or Fuel Injector Clean) , and my question was this, i want to clean my FI, and i was wondering if Seafoam would take care of that?

Because if it will, why should i pay for 2 products that do the same thing? If it doesn't is there anyone out there that has used both products?

- thanks in advance

As for putting anything if the oil, do some research on on auto rx. For the fuel system, Techron is the best over the counter bet. Auto rx can be used in the tranny before a flush.

This product is non solvent based actually it is made from natural lanolin esters so it will not gunk up your oil.

I agree, and use it every 7,500 miles, just before I change the oil. Since you want the treated gasoline to burn up before the oil change, I do the treatment about 500 miles before the oil change.

If you check the posts about FI cleaners like Techron, you'll find there is a tendency for the treatment to slightly increase the viscosity of the motor oil. This is why it's recommended just before an oil change.
