Going in for first oil change.

Hey guys, im rolling up on 3500 miles and going to nissan to get my first oil change. ( have free dealer servicing for 2 years) Do you know of anything i should request from the dealer other than to check up on problems i have been having during this oil change? Or anything they should check like common problems others have been having?

I'll be bringing mine to the shop for that 1st oil change myself... and anything i've noticed or have had any questions about i'll bring up. At this point though i don't have anything to ask or tell them.

Being that it's your cars 1st time back at the nissan shop (hopefully) buy something from them for the car ...

If its a nissan service department, when you bring your car in, they check all your fluids for you to make sure everything is up to par. They check the air pressure, brakes. Now this was always done for me everytime i brought my car in from an oil change to putting new mirrors on my car. I believe its part of corporate nissan to cover their ashes.

Strut Inspection

Based upon previous threads on this forum, it would be a good idea to have the struts inspected for problems (leaks, wear, see strut writeup).
