Best Oil For VE In Winter, With Toyota Filter???
Just curious to see what you guys think. I have in it right now, Castrol Syntec Blend, I believe its 1/2 Synthetic. Results with that oil, combined with the Toyota oil filter is great! No more VTC Tick ever. Just curious, if you know of a better oil.

that sounds like a great combination. I'd run 5-20 or 5-30 in the winter with the 'yota filter, then switch to something slightly heavier in the summer.
keep with the syntec blend as well if you like it. it's a good oil and the VE seems to work well with Castrol's stuff.

Ya, I definentely agree. The Syntec Blend is great, I haven't had one bit of Tick with this oil & Yota filter. The two go great together, it's definentely a worth while combo, that every VE should do.

If only that Yota filter wasn't so damn small. that's what scares me. when I do track events, I always change the filter after about 1000 miles and refill the oil just to be safe.... and yet somehow my engine STILL blew, and I'm guessing it was from oil starvation. I still have yet to tear it apart to find out tho.

Ya I Heard about that, I talk to Frosty & Spig all ths time. That sucks, You still haven't fixed the car since Maxus? Or did you swap out the motor? BTW do you have a SN for AIM? Gotta few questions that would be too complicated in a thread or in a PM. Thanks
