Lubricating windows

Hi, i was just wondering if using silicone lubricant for lubricating window guides is correct. Thanks.

I find that a speedy processor and about 1GB of RAM is the most effective way to lubricate windows. . .

Sorry, I couldn't resist, worse yet, I don't have a good actual answer for you.

Use something thats compatible with rubber. It will say on the bottle.

I used a synthetic silcone based spray with my guides to stop the squeeling noise during the windows rolling up. I bought mines from Fry's Electronics. Just don't get any of the silicone on your paint or tinted window film and you'll be fine. Two good applications within a 10 minute span did wonders. So far, I lasted about 3 years noise free and still counting without re-application of the spray.
