Post this on www.bobistheoilguy.com for informed feedback.

Let them run it on county vehicles. No self-respecting car enthusiast would consider using re-refined oil.

What's next: eating excreted food and drinking re-refined urine... not for me!

I agree. This is appropriate for long-distance trucks, city buses, etc. Those of us who use synthetic motor oil pay top dollar for the best protection available -- why try to save pennies when we want the best protection possible for our VQ engines?

maybe not everyone pays for the best protection.. how many people don't worry about maximum protection ?

A buddy is thinking about this on his 01 pathfinder and his 02 accord

I asked cause I never heard of it

I think you will find that most members on this site do think about maximum protection and maximum performance. Look at the push-back I get on this site simply from advocating burning regular gasoline in Maximas (which even Nissan in the owners manual says will work). I want the most economic protection for my VQ engine (so I use Mobil 1 and change at 7.5 K miles) but I don't race my Max and get satisfactory performance from burning regular gasoline.

You may get (for you) satisfactory performance from using re-refined motor oil. It's your call, but I would not use it in my Max -- just as many on this site will continue to burn premium gasoline in their Max -- even if they don't race it. Their position is essentially: "Only the Best for my Baby !"
