Lucas in 5 Speed 01 Maxima?

Lucas in 5 Speed 01 Maxima?

Done Googled the Hell outta it noone talks about using it in a 5 speed....I got a small Leak looks like its comming from shifter linkage hard to tell been to 4 shops they all tellin me they gotta take tranny out and open her up and completely reseal it so screw that at this time its gotta wait.


Just wondering would it be okay to put in some Lucas stop leak in it?

If you're talking about the Lucas gear oil, I'd say you can. I've used their gear oil in several cars, trucks, and 4wd vehicles i've owned over the years, and I've never had a problem with it. I've used it in diffs, transfer cases, and manual transmissions.

lmao thats my 4th gen she took a beating for 65k miles and seen 4 A/T..im in a 5th gen now 5 speed and treat her much better lol.


Its the lucas Stop slip its real thick ive used it in A/T but says also good for gear box's jus wanna make sure it wont mess with the syncros cause i know how picky they are. i have Amsoil GL4 in it.
