I just had some custom stereo work done to my car and now my airbag light is flashing. I tried taking it to Advance Auto and having the code reset but its saying that its a permanent code. Did I just void my airbag warranty? Please help me out guys.

 

There is a way you can reset your airbag module manually without a code reader by turning the key and pushing the door switch. It worked for me before.

 

depends on the year of your car, there are different manual reset procedures to reset the airbag light. it's all in the fsm under restraining system.
