Do you think one of these will work in my 5th gen if i have a full size 17" spare? I wouldnt need the box/**** retainer, maybe just a "flush mounted" handle?

I have trunk section of my car replaced with one off SE AE (accident). The problem is that my original spare is full size 16" and it sticks out a little above the well. Can something be done about this? Right now there's no cover so to speak - just some random piece laying on top of the spare under the carpet.
