Price changed a long time ago because UPS shipping sucks. (See post #145)

PM for latest pricing.

45 minutes. Don't have any plans to come to NYC. Between the tolls, tunnel, gas & time spent, it's probably better to just have it shipped to your door for $20.

Thanks!

I have, but MDF/wood is very easy to work with. I wouldn't have the knowledge or tools to be able to manipulate plastic/composite/pvc/carbon fiber/fiberglass, etc.

I use 1/2" MDF for the boards. They're as thin as I can go without sacrificing structure. And, IMHO, it's fairly light for what it does.

I could go to 3/8 birch to decrease weight and thickness, and increase strength, however I doubt people would pay the difference in price.

The new design has the recessed box made of a pine material, rather than the original design, the box was made of MDF.

These are the new design, and I have a spare recessed box for you!
