I'm selling my complete MSII setup that I ran on my VQ for a while. This will include :

MSII ECU with tuning cable

Custom wiring harness for S14

Stimulator (used for MS ECU testing, handy for trouble shooting)

EDIS module/plug

Crank trigger wheel w/custom machined mount for a VQ

Crank sensor and custom made crank sensor mount (fits Z oil pan)

6 post coil pack with plug wires

Custom modified Z throttle body (modified to operate with a cable), will bolt directly

to a Z or later VQ35 Maxima intake manifold



This is a sweet setup for you guys who are man enough for a standalone! It will come with my last used maps so your car should start and run reasonably well (needs tuning though).



This would probably work on a FWD VQ too for you Maxima or swapped Sentra guys, even a 350z or G35.

Buuuuummmmmppppp!

 

How did the engine run with it ? Did you use this system for a long time ? I *might* be interested.... got a B13 I wanna put a VQ into.

 

It started and idled fine, ran ok but needed a tune. It took it to redline a few times and it pulled good and didn't knock that I could tell. I only ran it for a little while on my car since I have no tuners at all in my area. It's a good setup, very tweakable. This would be perfect for a swap project since you'd get to skip all the factory wiring hassles such as the NATS system, etc.

Thats awesome becuase I actually should have asked that before the money order was in the mail to make sure it was a v3 pcb,but didn't think about until on the way home from town after i mailed it !

 

What kind of gains did you get out of this?

if you know anything about tunning or the way a motor SHOULD run, its VERY TUNEABLE,
im running MS on my 3rd gen, and i like it alot. i have to upgrade to coils instead of distributor, once i do i should be running MUCH MUCH better.
