2001 Maxima cluster & wire/diagram for 4th gen

Hey guys,
I’m selling a 2001 Maxima SE gauge cluster. It has about 85k on it (to my knowledge), and all lights and gauges light up perfectly. I was originally going to use this as a custom project on my SC300, but decided on using a stock cluster instead.

Included in the sale are the wire harness pigtails, and a complete write-up (including wiring diagram) for installation into a 4th gen. I made the wiring diagram myself, after hours of research and trial and error. With my diagram, all functions of the 4th gen cluster work on the 5th gen without any calibration errors, or weird quirks.

This mod is a cheap, easy, and best of all, UNIQUE mod for your 4th gen, and I’m proud to have the first 4th gen with this mod. (not 5.5 gen cluster)

The cluster has a small chip on the top left of the cluster, but when installed in a 4th gen, it’s unnoticeable. If you replace the clear plastic lens, it would look perfect.

Here is the cluster in the SC300, when I was testing it out:

Here is a cluster installed in my 4th gen, for fitment purposes:

Here are pics of the actual cluster:

I want $65 plus shipping for the cluster, harnesses, and complete write-up with diagrams.
I’m also offering a package deal, where I can install the cluster (local only). The price is $130 installed.

Thanks,
-Freddy

Since I'm a 97 analog and the 5th gen cluster has digital trip and odometer how would this be compatible with 97 analoge?

I was wondering the same thing. Is it as simple as just wiring it up differently?

Ditigal Odometer 5thgen Cluster to work in Analog 4th gen

chated with Taverish a little, he posts mostly on NYCMaximas rather than here. He said that he has a 98 and as we know 98's are digital odometer and the cluster is wired differently than the analog 97 cluster. So for him it was a matter of just tapping the right 4thgen harness wire feeding the Odometer on the 5th gen and it worked.

Im thinking as long as the odometer wire from the 4th gen taps into the 5th gen odometer wire it should work. All it requires is power to operate so I dont see why it would'nt. If it doesnt then there has to be a way to get it to work. Its just a matter of figuring it out.

GhostMax, your a 95 and your cluster is analog. Did you just tap all the wires to their right locations a per the FSM and it worked no issues? Or did you have to do something different to get the 5th gen digital odometer to work?
