I would think a manufacturer could sell a pair of real clear turn signal lenses for $25 and make a huge profit.
i looked into this once; the up front costs do not justify production for cheap maxima owners. you would need to sell many of them to get a decent price.

1. A better CF hood.
2. A replacement wing that would fit over existing holes.
ie. Type 2 or even a lip spolier.

With the engine share with the >02 Maximas,Altima,135,G35 and 350Z I think you will start to see more engine mod gear for the later engines.

:o)

I dream of:

* SC ECU program
* A lighter but stock diamter drive pulley
* SC CAI
* A one piece Stillen rear groud effect instead of two lame corner pieces
* A type II spoiler with no middle legs and no L.E.D.

ah, thought of a few more dreams:
r33 skyline tails, but built to fit a maxima, so pretty much sexima's tails but premade without the chrome inside, plus having the light on bottom would rock, also a big dream would be a kit to convert my car to the ferrari f1 shifting ability with the steering wheel paddles and everything, another small and more possible item, aluminum **** replacements for like the a/c controls, window controls, cruise control, etc. they make them for mustangs and i saw an ad recently for them for hondas so it could be a possibility

I have one made. I'm just still debating whether or not anyone is willing to pay $1000+ for one. So far I've got just the one prototype going into my car, debating whether or not to actually produce it.

Dave
I realize that these are RWD motors, but i just figured that if the honduh camp can throw in just about any motor in the line up into any other car (including an NSX motor in a FWD Accord, why? i dunno, waste of money if you ask me). ok how about this, a little less audacious plan of attack, how about a transplant kit for the new 6-speed max's with 255hp? i know my original motor picks were out there, but i figured what the hell go big or go home right?

hmmmmm...are you sure about that one?? the only NSX transplant I've heard about was in a 2nd gen CRX, TOTALLY custom, engine was mounted in the trunk and obviously converted to RWD....ran 11's n/a!!

im almost 100% positive, simply because its in my area. the guy's name is harry something (can't remember), and i've actually gotten up close and personal with his motor because i didn't belive him one bit. the car isn't comepletely finished yet, but it's kit is on has the dual GReddy set up and soon to have a gruppe m supercharger put in. the motor itself has all the nsx pieces on it (plastic one to metal caps and things. i say that but even im still a little skeptical, however, he did win a multimillion dollar lawsuit about a year ago. he became paralysed from the waste down after an injury at his job (has to suck)

peace

one piece, diamond cut, projector HID and corner lights for us 3rd gen'ers..
one piece, BMW headlights and matching corners w/o gaps or mounting that requires cutting.
LED window switches
4th/5th gen beam axle->IRS conversion (i'd consider a 4th/5th gen if this were possible..my next car will probably be a 3.5altima..)
HICAS type thing for 3rd gen
aftermarket VTC replacement (i.e. better than stock...more power) that doesnt run $700 (could even be included with new cams)
affordable aftermarket ignition system for the VE
stock sized, lightened crank pulley
lightened, stock sized pulley set
HLSD that replaces the VLSD in VE trannys
all dreams, none will ever happen sadly...there just wont be enough people to make these things profitable.

Re: Re: Re: Re: MODS

The shop that did the CRX is down the street from me. Mahdavi Motorsports. They say when they get it tuned right on slicks, it should do low 10's or high 9's. Right now it's running 11.6 and the NSX motor is totally stock. As weird as it looks, I"m amazed it actually works.
