Post a list of what mods you would like to see made(for companys to hear)
Hey guys I thought it would be a good idea to make a list of what parts you would like to be made for your maxima, I think companys that make mods could learn from this and maybe make something we are all interested in. Please only list things that you would buy. I will start off with what I want to see made
.
2002 front lip is a must!
Polyurethane bushings, a complete set would be great but I would really like to see sway bar bushings made for the 5th gen.
A ECU modification for 2002's that is effective and cost's no more then $600.
And a complete pulley setup not just a crank pulley.
Well there you have it, now what would you like for your max?

MODS
i dunno if it neccessarily is a mod, but i guess it could be. a motor mount kit for either RB26DETT or the 300zx TT motor. i know those would be expensive (prolly very), but think of the possible power output!
also, i think that if stealin made a little more high quality more stylish body kit for 95-96 maximas that would be great, not to mention a better supercharger kit that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get.
GReddy could also make a more affordable exhaust system and since they are on of the leaders in turbo kit manufacturing, they should come out with a kit for the maximas (any gen)
someone out there should come out with an auto tranny that isn't too exspenive, and that can handle the power that the turbo kits and SC kits dishout (i know about the Level 10 and Don's upgrades).
thats about it for now i guess

CAMS!
A plug-n-play "kit" for the MEVI, for $500.
Effective long-tube headers.
A bolt-on brace to secure the front lower control arm mounting points.
A matched set of upgraded anti-roll bars.
A really good coilover SYSTEM.
LSD for automagics.
Shorter final drive ratio with required speedo gear to make corrections.
Effective ECU upgrades for all years. (Maybe just timing control...)
More forced induction kit options.
More affordable camber adjustment options.
...um...I'm sure I can think of some more later...

1. carbon fiber hood that actually fit perfectly.
2. someway to get rid of the annoying lag on the auto tranny once and for all.
3. a direct bolt on turbo kit with no extra modification necessary.
4. a FMIC setup that is made especially for our cars.
5. a 5spd conversion kit with all the necessary parts for the conversion, so we don't have to go around and look for the parts.
6. upgraded engine "internals" that we can just swap right in.
I agree with what Ben said too.
Btw, all of this should be reasonably priced.

How bout new valve springs, suitable to rev the motor up to like 7000 RPMs, and we would need the chip to change the fuel cut off, and to top it off, new cams to go along with the higher redline.

Cams for NA and Boosted Maximas
A programable ECU for ALL years, and a program for boosted max's.
Piston options
An affordable S/C and Turbo Kit.
A carbon fiber hood that fits right
I think that's it.

The problem isn't the springs, it's the drop and reduced wheel travel. You're riding very close to the bump stops therefore the ride will be crap. The only way to effectively go low without loosing wheel travel is to upgrade to shortened strut housings on a coilover kit. Do you have $2500-3000 laying around?

1)Camshafts
2)Effective Headers
3)Gears
**ROOTS TYPE BLOWER**
What's better then having sh!tloads of torque to mess with around the city and off the line? This would especially benifit you autotragics.

Couldn't sombody make a real clear lens for the 97-99 clear tails that would match the back up lights? How much could this possibly cost? There are people spending close to $200 for tailights with a pice of floresent light cover inside. Now it seems many people are willing to pay $25 for a pre-cut piece of floresent light cover. I would think a manufacturer could sell a pair of real clear turn signal lenses for $25 and make a huge profit.

.....especially on the LSD for automagics.
All for 3rd gens:
KYB AGX
turbo kits for the VG engine
coilovers
Basically, I wish the 3rd gens had as much aftermarket support as the later generations.
Also, I wish Greddy wasn't so expensive. I mean, 500 for a catback system?
