I dented my Konig Monsoons and I'm really sceptical about who i send my wheels to expecially since my rims are machined and painted. Most of the prices seem to be around $125+ to just fix and $175+ to both fix and refinish. These guys are charging a flat fee of $109 to do it all. Not a bad price!, but I'm wondering if anyone has used these guys? Do they do good work?
The machined lip won't be machined anymore. It will be polished. The paint color should be really close. You won't have that "Monsoon" sticker either.

If you live in NYC LI area I know of a place cheaper than Wheels American that does great work. The only problem I had with Wheels America was the paint. It did not match my origional paint and chipped very easy. Other than that they do straighten out wheels.

They actually need to see the rim before they determine whether they can fix it or not. I dented a rim (pretty minor) a few years back and no one was willing to repair it for me. Ended up buying a new one from Tirerack.Originally posted by perfectmax

Used them to repair one of my original 17's. The lip was scraped and gouged by a shop that changed a tire. After they repaired, could not tell the finish from the other three wheels, and could not tell it ever had any damage. Their web site is:Originally posted by perfectmax

The Konig Monsoon that I'm trying to repair is in excellent cosmetic shape except for the dent. I was thinking of sending it to the people at BENTRIM.COM and asking them just to straighten instead of refinishing too b/c I dont want them messing up the finish. The Konig Monsoon is a decently hard rim to fix, right? Plus, I still want that MONSOON logo.

I'm not sure how much Monsoons cost but I'd rather have a new one rather than dump money into a bent one. I just think that since we're not talking about steelies any repairs will further weaken the rim.Originally posted by perfectmax

Dang I scored my 18x8's for only $129 new each, they were over $300 originally. I was thinking about getting a spare or two for a couple of months and sure enough they're sold out now.
I would buy a new Konig Monsoon but konig doesn't make them anymore and nobody on the org/internet is selling.
UPDATE: I wasn't going to have the wheel refinished until i took the rim to Good Year Tire in Paoli, PA to get the tire taken off. They ended up scratching the $hit out of it! Wow, im ****ed!
