Not my Max, but my g/f's. she was leavin my place last nite, and i heard her rev her engine on the way out. i walked out laughin cause she gets mad when i do it. and she was in the middle of the driveway saying it won't move. so i put it in drive-nothing: put it in reverse-nothing. put it in park and it grinded really bad and loud. so we pushed it out the way. anyone got a clue what may be wrong?

 

First off, check the tranny fluid, you may not have enough to complete a shift.. look for the obvious things first before deciding tranny failure. Make sure no hoses are broken, leaks etc.
