Weird Noises

Ok my car has this slight knocking, ticking, hitting, clanking, whatever you want to call it from 1500-2250 RPM. When the engine is cold it's pretty loud, when it's fully warm I really can't hear anything. I think it started right around when my clutch was installed. It only does it when rolling (won't do it if I rev it in neutral). Also if I clutch in or goto neutral at those speeds I don't hear it. It makes me think it's something transmission related. My ACT used to chatter real hard when coming off the line in first, but that's finally just about gone away, now this noise seems to be a little worse. Engine runs fine, on the highway it's smooth as can be, I haven't noticed a loss in power, it's just an annoying sound when my engine is cold (I never rev past 2500 when it's cold so I have to deal with the sound constantly). Anyone else have this sound (most likely with an aftermarket clutch)?

Drain your tranny fluid and check the magnet to see if it's full of metal shavings.
