There maybe hope for the Maxima after all.
I got back from the Saginaw Valley SCCA Cendiv Event. I ended up placing 2nd in the STS class and would have won the STX class by .9 sec. The guy that came in first was last years national champion. He ended up beating me by ~1.6 sec over both days.
Now if I could get my GC and some new tires and learn how to drive better maybe I could be a little more competive nationally.
I'll post some tips in the auto-x section for those of you who are interested in setting your car up better.

The rims lookcool from a distance but if look very closely you'll see what a poor job I did painting them. I choose those rims because they were cheap, light and 7.5" wide.

That's the same reason I chose my rims. They were a bit harder to find than Z rims, but I like em. RX7 rims.
