where to get a lawyer for speeding ticket

I got my second speeding ticket a few days back driving to FT. WAYNE Indiana. I don't care about the ticket cost, but don't want more points on my record. When the cop pulled me over he said he clocked me 5 minutes back from the off ramp. He said i was doing 89 mpg in a 65 zone. I didn't argue with him, nor did i admit to speeding. I do remember there was 3 other cars around me. Actually a 1998 black accord was right next to me. He didn't show me the radar gun showing the clocked speed. How do i go about getting a lawyer? Does getting a lawyer always work?

Of all the people that have ever been pulled over for speeding, a very small % have admitted that they did it. It's uncanny. Equipment problems are night/day, but moving violations are different. I even know a girl who owes over $600 in parking violations. She claims she's gonna pay it but that most of them were errors. The additional fines for not paying on time she also claims are bogus, she claims the City of Phila. lost all her payments. I dunno, she seems to be a fairly honest person but people get kooky when it comes to the law.

Anyway, you don't need a lawyer to buy a house. You don't need a lawyer to do your taxes. Why do you need one to go to court on a speeding ticket? If you have been charged with a misdemeanor or felony, you do need a lawyer. Otherwise, if you feel you weren't going 89 then make an appointment and tell the truth. Most people seem to get some kind of reward for appearing in person, not all.
