Do you need to "Season rotors"?

I just bought 4 new rotors off that gd, mine are warped so badly! My pads are probably about shot also. Someone said that you need to season you rotors, use your old pads with new rotos for about 500miles. Is this necessary, ive prefer to put rotors, ss brake lines, and pads on at once.

How to season your rotors...

Put 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a very hot black pan.

Add salt & pepper to taste.

Add rotors and stir for about 5 minutes.

ENJOY THE RIDE!

Everything seats faster if you use old pads with new rotors or the other way around. If you change out everything, find an empty stretch of staright road. Now make 3-5 medium effort stops from 30-45 mph and then let everything cool down very slowly, with either the car just sitting or just driving straight for a few miles. Do not rest your foot on the brake while doing this. Now go out and make 3-5 fairly high effort stops from 60-5 mph and let everything cool down completely. While doing this, make sure you don't stop hard enough to make the new pads smoke, if they do, just drive and let them cool down. After all this everything will be bedded in beautifully.
