NEED HELP! leatherseats.com install....
Sorry for the double post but I really need help with this...
I started doing my install last night. Got the back seats done no problem, they look real nice. Started working on the front passenger seat. Got the bottom half (where your butt goes) all finished. I then started working on the upper half (where your back rests) and I got kind of stuck. I got the cover over the seat and sitting properly, but I cant figure out how the hell youre supposed to get the hog rings in (where the two-tone color is in the center of the seat). I tried to slide my arm up the front of the seat and put one in but its to tight. Am I doing something wrong? I cant see how you could do it any other way....you have to put the whole cover over the seat, so its unlike all the other hog ring areas where you have easy access. I thought the upper part of the front seat would be two pieces but its only one making the job almost impossible...Please be specific with any replies. Thanks

Hey guys,
I installed my seats this weekend. it took a total of 10 hours with
my younger brother helping me. this includes the door panels too.
The only problems I had was using the hog rings. It took me an hour to put like 3 in place, and they
were loose. so I used WIRE TIES. 175 or so. They do the job just
as good.
I would say to use wire ties in the area of the front seat
where your back rests. its the only way to get them in there.

I came across the same problem. To get around it, I placed the cover on and then "rolled" it up from the bottom until the lower portion position was above the headrest....like a sock. As I installed each ring, I rolled the cover down the seat. It worked pretty well for me. Let me know how it works out.

Good instructions LeftCoast.
Place the top of the seat on, rolling the bottom of the seatcover inside out. Then, as your roll it back down, place the hogrings on the vertical pieces.
Roll up
Hogring on the way down.
roll a little more
hogring on the way down.
Its actually very easy once you figure it out.
