brakes sound really bad...
hey everyone, this is my first post... sadly its because my brakes are sounding really bad.
i have 38k on my 2k1 SE and i allready replaced the pads once(maybe at 20k---dont remember what brand, but they were fairly expensive) and now the pads look like about 25% and the rotors look a little scored but if i brake even slightly hard now, i hear a loud kinda grinding sound. its not really metal on metal grinding. it sounds like if im going 100 and hit em hard, when im really only going 35 and stop a little short.
the wheel doesnt shake during braking, but it does feel like ive lost stopping power and increased the distance to stop.
im not sure what to do.... im thinking new pads and resurfacing? but i dont know what the best pads to buy are.
sooooo i guess i need some advice for the best front brake pads (rears are like 90% still)
i drive and brake kinda hard, more than normal and id say more than aggressive at times... money doesnt really matter for the pads, but its leased so i dont want to put new rotors on.
any help is appreciated, thanks

I doubt you need to get ur rotors resurfaced, unless it shakes all the time which you said it didnt. I need new rotors, it feels like my car is goin to fall apart when I brake! Probably get new pads, Ill reccomend porterfields, Im about to buy some and have heard many good things about them. If you call them to order mention maximadriver.com to get a special price!
