I was at the dealership three months back and the sales man told me he could get me a manual i 30 from san francisco, because "they drive mostly stick up there". I thought he was lying to get me in to a new car, but sure enough he called and said he could get me one. Just thought i d share that piece of information for any one passing up on an i 30 for that reason.

 

Hmmmm, I thought they dicontinued the 5-speed after 99. If it's for real let us know.

Just a note, I know people who live in San Fran who would never drive a stick 'cause of the hills.

 

no 5 spd on the 00-01 I30.

 

what i really wanna see is someone convert the i30 to a maxima's 5 speed... any people with money flowing out their bums wanna pioneer this effort?

Better go for the Canadian or AE Max 5-speed so you can get the LSD.....
