Still having fuel pressure problems
So I borrowed a stock fuel pump, but I haven't had time to put it in until today, which I'm in the proccess of doing right now. I took a look at everything and it all looks fine. The bag was touching the bottom of the tank, and everything was mounted in correctly. The problem has been going on and off for the past couple weeks. Sometimes it will fluctuate, other times remain steady, it really makes no sense, Though I always feel like my car is jearking a little bit, but it may just be me...
The only thing Ive noticed so far, is that the tube attaching the bag to the pump looks like it might be a little loose on the pump, like it worked loose over time, but it may have come off a little from pulling it out, so who knows. I'm gonna put the stocker in now, and see if the problem persist...

I remember doing that before, but somehow now it was a little loose, though like I said, I'm not sure if it worked loose, or if I pulled it off a bit trying to get it out. I'm almost tempted to just try tightening it and putting the walborro back in...

I had a similiar issue with my Walbro. I was actually taking off really hard from a stop and the car just died. Look at the FP guage and no reading. I drove home got the tools and the stocker... came back and when I went to pull the Walbro the line had completely worked itself off. I tightened it down with a spare hose clamp and the car ran STRONGER than it ever had before. It felt like I had gone down another 2 pulley sizes on the SC, it was insane.
Anyways, shove the Walbro back in there get a small hose clamp and tighten that SOB down good. You will not regret it. Should be an easy fix.

Well I put the stocker back in their, but I'm not sure of the results just yet... I was almost empty on gas, had about 1 1/4 gallons in the tank, and I had to go to work 25 miles away, so I just filled it up. I'll have to wait till the level goes back down to figure everything out. The car still seemed a little bit jerky when I was driving it, and the FP looks kinda low, but the car idles fine and still pulls strong. I may find a line and run it to my mechanical FP gauge so I can watch it... I'm also going to put the AEM FPR back in and see if it makes any difference... Still don't know though...
Delio, Thanks for the reply, but my lines were still hooked up tight. I did however replace the spring clamps with hose clamps while I had it apart. Thanks.
