Funny you shold ask.

I just did one on my wife's car a couple hours ago. Anyway, it's pretty simple. Get the car tore down to the axle. Removal of the axle isn't necessary but it is a little bit easier with it off the car. In order to get the axle apart to get the boots off you have to break down the inner joint. Pull the boot off of the inner joint. Push on the axle so it slides in. Inside that area you will see grooves where the ***** slide back and forth. There is a C-clamp just inside the joint if you feel in there with your fingers. Use a flat screwdriver to remove it. Now you can slide the whole thing completely out. Put the ***** off to the side. On the end you will see a snap ring that holds the other pieces in. Remove this and you will be able to take the rest of the pieces off and be able to put either of the boots on. Then just reassemble in reverse order. I hope you can understand that. I'm not very good at describing how to do things sometimes.
