Just cuz you got tons of $$ in your ride doesn't mean ****. Jeff Huberts "Mad Max", 1983 turbo Max went 11.9 @ 119. Bow down to the underground.. Hahahahaha..

I got my 480 cc injectors from Nissan Courtesy for 100 each.
I also posted a link about the 550 cc,rc one were for 100 each but I didn't want to get the 550 because I wasn't sure if S-AFC can tune that well at idle.

I used the 370 cc injectors with walbro 255 high pressure fuel pump and I was able to idle very well with only 18% less than stock so I guess with 480 cc I still can lean that at idle."

Not true. Read up on it. Turbo cars are not affected in nearly the same way as NA or supercharged cars.n It just takes a little bit longer for the turbo to spool here. So you'll be fairly close to the numbers that you would pull at sea level. And just so people here know, Bandimere is at 5800 ft That being said, if you want someone to ride with you or take your car down the track and maybe give you some pointers let me know. I went 16.4 stock (up here) and a few people with all the bolt ons haven't hit better than 16.3. So I would consider myself to be a decent driver

And.... His tranny was only shifting at about 4800 RPM's. he didn't even hit close to his Peak HP before the tranny pushed him into the next gear. 11's are most likely a good bet for when it's running correctly.

I think it was more like 106MPH. Either way, it's much slower than most would think, due to his tourque converter, small diameter slicks and a VSLD off of an I30.

Nice numbers!!

What's your air fuel ratio and how much fuel pressure are you running through those stock injectors?

Very nice numbers!

High 12's @ ~115mph sounds right.

That thing is a high way stalker!!!

As far as BOOM goes, as long as detonation is kept under control, the AFR proper and EGTs are not too hot, it should last a while. I would recomend a blackstone oil report at eevery oil change just to check for excessive bearing and ring wear, this way you will have a little notice on the motors status so you can start a built motor before she goes.

DAM I gotta use a 50 shot now

Mardigras,
Thanks for reminding me about engine wear, I knew I forgot something. You are right, even if the motor holds together for a while as you said, there will be a tremendous increase in wear on the internals and an oil report is a great idea.
The reason I brought up the Boom factor is it's a real gamble letting your motor self destruct because there is the possibility that a rod thru the cylinder wall could totally destroy the engine and now you're talking a lot more money!! Whatever, to each his own as long as you're having fun.

Dude, your uncorrected Dyno beats mine! Their A/F meter is still not working so I don't have A/F ratio. I look at the cheesey one from autometer in my car and it still reads green to yellow.

I'm building my own A/F ratio device from UEGO sensor and special circuit. Next time I dyno, I'll get the A/F too.

I'll do the engine oil analysis too! Never done that before. Thanks for the advice.

I don't run like this everyday. Usually I run 9.3 psi and 5.5 psi. I just wanted to explore the limits. I guess I'll turn the boost back down for a while until I can afford to build one. The VQ is pretty strong so far!

Just out of curiosity, wouldnt a bored out throttle body give you a significant increase in gains, since it is a bottle-neck in your pipeline just like a crimp in your exhaust would be? Sorry if Im way off in left field.

Looks like your putting out around 450HP+ at the crank!
Nice!
Have had any runs with other cars? What were some of the outcomes? Not talking about NA Civics but more like M3, m5, vettes, fbodies etc..

That's what I was just about to say!!

Nigel, how the hell do you plan on controlling that beast? I get mad torque steer in my N/A '95 5spd, with your insane power I wouldn't be surprised if you flipped the damn thing.

Do you think at any point you'll be able to go WOT ? It seems with FWD + that much power you won't be able to go to it's full potential even with slicks.

It was only $1200.

And that included a new aftermarket clutch/pressure plate, and low milage tranny, driveshafts, ect.
