Painting springs...

Anyone ever painted there springs? I just picked up a set of Intrax, the guy had them left over from his shop, they have been in his garage and they are a little dinged up and the paint is coming off. Should I paint them with a latex based paint and a good coat of primer and a clear coat? or would that come off?

Don't worry about it you won't be able to see them when they're on.

I was just thinking, maybe I see them because I have a wheel gap, but that will be no longer I guess...

Heck, set up a SoCal meet, and MrNismo, Thurznite, MaxxTraxx, and I will do it for $110.

Well I could, but I am a little worried about the camber adjustment and stuff, I think he would do my allignment and adjust all that crap for me. But if you can do it hey...lets do this...I am irritated I am going to take his advice that the springs are not used. They have scrapes and stuff but seem very bright purple and dusty.
