New Maxima Printed ADs... Road and Track

Head to your local wal-mart and check out the full two-page ad on the 2k3 Maxima. Also noticed a lot more television advertising too.

Still haven't seen all of the ads they've made; which can be downloaded from

Did they get bogus 0-60 and 1/4th times like they did with the 2k2? A 15 second quarter mile for a 2k2 6spd while amateurs on this board are hitting low 14's stock...it's pathetic

No no, the raod and track thing is just a two-page ad featuring a 2k3 Maxima set next to a Jet fighter. Actually it looks like they're racing, and the plane has him only by a nose!

The granny-shift. If you read any of the more hardcore mags (esp 5.0 or any other Mustang mag), they rip on Road & Track, and Moter Trend all the time. The irony is that most car companies use the R&T #'s

That jet is pretty slow. The blue brake calipers on my '97 SE would give me the edge over that thing anyday.

...and imagine if they were yellow, and you had an offset wide stripe crossing the top.

Out of the 1000's++ of 2k2 6spd's sold how many have run low 14's bone "STOCK"? 3? And how many times? 1-3 times at best? There are alot of "MODDED" 6spd owners who are only getting mid 14's+ at best and most runs are in the 15's!
