help with front mount ic

Mine comes in this week -

I am curious to see other people's setups with and without the bumper on so I can see how you mounted it - and how it looks -

thank you.

Your time is better spent look at the homepages of UncleMax, Turbo95Max, Turbo97se (I think Nigel has one), and phil96se (even though he doesn't own it anymore I think he had an FMIC ).

it looks as if turbo95max cut into his bumper in order to fit it, and unclemax just got a fmic that fit UNDEr his bumper (less than 6inches high...)

I have a 7" high fmic, and do not want to cut into my bumper, but looks as if that is the solution - thanks for those links!

That's just the thing, I do not want to cut the metal part of my bumper for two reasons...

1. im cutting my bumper
2. i do plan on actually selling this car someday... and thats a pretty serious change

with a 6inch high fmic, i could fit it under the metal bumper, and it would not hang below the plastic bumper cover... but 7" i dont know what to do - maybe i could mount it farther back, so 1" of it is actually behind the metal bumper... hmmm

f#ck it.. just cut it..

a) people won't notice that it was cut..
b) you can always get another one from a junk yard
c) by the time your sell your car . .its going to be so cheap. .a cut bumper won't mean ****.
d) because i said so

Please email me this info, if you could.
Also, is this air-to-air? or air-to-water intercooler?

Thx
