Okay Optima guys I have some questions...
Some of these may sound stupid but I am very particular.
1. Did you remove the handle?
2. Did you remove the sticker that wraps around the battery?
3. The guy I bought it from said it was 700CCA I believe and he said the Maxima was 500CCA but there is no harm in going up just going down. Is that right?
4. Did you put the battery box back on top?
BTW mine came with a detachable block at the bottom so mine fits with the J-hooks and tie-down perfectly no modding required.

3) No harm. The car will take what it needs. For example: Your AC outlet in your house provides 15-20 amps of current per circuit. It doesnt use all of this unless you run high powered stuff like the vaccuum, hair dryer etc.
