Best cold air intake brand to buy??
I have a '97 Max and am looking to put in a cold-air intake. I was about to get a Cattman (as they claim they have the best made one that will give the best performance). They say a Cattman CAI gives the best 1/4 mile time.
I was wondering how Stillen, HKS, Ractive or a Franken holds up? Which one gives the most power with a nice low V8 growl? The Cattman looks like the filter is made out of a spongy material compared to Ractive or Stillen who's filters are made out of hard material. can anyone tell me what one to get?

the only true CAI's to my knowledge are made by place racing and injen. cattman may have come out with one but im pretty sure that frankencar and ractive dont have one. im not sure about hks. i could be wrong but that is what i thought was out there.

WarpSpeed Performance also has a CAI that I've heard good things about.
