a/c problem, not cold!
my a/c is not cold. I know the compressor is working becasue i can hear the belts start when i turn it on. i think i just might have to recharge it. Is that the answer, and if so, how do you do it? DOn't want to take it into a shop.

I am usually not one to discourage a new Do-it-yourselfer, but this is one job you shouldn't attempt. YOu need the right tools, like a gauge manifold, hoses, a vacuum pump and a Factory Service Manual or A/C manual. You also should have a VERY GOOD knowledge of A/C theory and repair.
This is not something to play with; there is a reason that there are 133 pages on the HVAC system in the '99 FSM.
