wrapping exhaust piping with header wrap

would wraping my b-pipe reduce the resonation sound in any way? I have a ypipe, stock b, stillen muffler and when I listen to the car at idle, some of the drone seems to come from the b-pipe in some what as if it was resonating. I was thinking if I wrap it, it would dampen the resonation. Also my y-pipe, I heard things about if you wrap it with header wrap it would weaken the welds because it gets too hot but what if I just wrap the flex section only?

the extra noise is coming from your y pipe not your b pipe

I am aware of that but there seems to be different noises from different places and one seems to be from the b-pipe region and Im also aware of my stillen mufflers noise.

i have stillen y , b and muffler

i had the muffler first.. it made a good low tone , not very noticable.

i then added the y and b pipe with a racing cat the same time. the noise from my exhaust doubled.

that is why iwas saying it came from your y pipe..i do not see how the b pipe coulb be making noise..
