Things you learn
1. the car will not start if the wiring harness for the ECU is not plugged in..
2. when spicing wires into the ecu, make sure you are tapping into the correct wires. Using the correct wiring diagram helps a great deal also.
I know this after spending 3 hours testing wires and grounds.
this information is for your reference..

Lesson I learned most recently:
Make sure the headlight is not turned on when doing any elec work.. My headlight was turned on during my NOS elec work, and after I was done, the car wouldnt start...
I got very scared because I thought I did something wrong.. Had to go over every connection 2,3 times to make sure everything was ok.. And that meant taking apart the dash again.. Car still wouldnt start. The battery was completely drained..After getting a jump, realized the headlight was on... hahahah

Black = coolest color to have when brand new off the lot. (What you can't see while driving it home are all the bugs, rocks, birds and trees having a secret meeting behind the Walmart... coming up with NEW ways of destroying all of your Maxima hopes and dreams.)
