Dash Kits

I have a few questions about the dash kits.
1. Is everyone who has the aluminum one happy with the product..
2. How much are they usually to install
3. I have a wood kit already, will that be a problem??

Please help, thanks

1. Dont have one yet but i assume if some one got it, they must like it.
2. It only takes about 3 minutes to install, so why pay $$ to install??
3. Why would that be a problem?? Will your dash kit get jealous??

1. Just because they have it does not mean they like it!
2. I would rather have a professional install it.
3. I am asking about the old one because I dont know what it entails getting it off..

Thanks anyway

1. I don't have one but have been researching it as an option for a while.
2. Installation really is a DIY thing.. It just uses double sided tape and goes over pieces of your dash.
3. However you have to realize that if you have a wood dash already (GLE like me) then you are going to see the wood around the edges. Does not look as clean as putting a kit on a black dash. I have been slowly collecting black dash pieces because I am planning on getting a kit.. eventually.

In that case, you should be able to just take off the old kit, clean it up and replace it with the new one.
