Air Filter Comparison (HKS, K&N, Blitz, and APEXi)

Take a look at this comparison of 4 air filters. Pics, horsepower gains, filtration capability... sweet stuff.

i'm considering frankencar intake, and i just desided to see whether it is worth to pay $40+ more than the K&N version. i seem to be thinking it is more and more now.

Repost, but a good one. The Apexi looks good, but not so much better than the K&N that I would bother changing it. If I had to replace my K&N I would definatly consider the Apexi, even though it cost more. I wouldn't let that HKS within 10 feet of my car, I want to keep it for a while.

How do you clean the Apexi?

You don't. Seriously, it says maintanence(sp?) free. I am thinking of switching from my K&N once my FLP midpipe comes in (Thurday).
