Depending on what year maxima you have, how many miles you've had on your stockers, and what type of maxima you have...slightly stiffer. It is different. I went from 60,000 mile stock struts to the tokico blues(actually stock to intrax/tokico then stock/tokicos). They are firmer you feel a bit more of the road, but not too bad. A good stock replacement.

I've had Toks with two different sets of aftermarket springs. From my experiences, I would say they would be perfect for use with stock springs.

I replaced my OE with tokico Blue at around 65k not worth the $$$. They only thing that I noticed was that potholes became more noticable.

If you want a non adj strut go with KYB GR-2.

Given that blues are essentially OEM replacements, then they should be a nice ride with stock springs. I had them w/ H&R's, and the ride was nice.
