ABS light is on
#1
Uh oh! A few months ago switching the wheels at a race, I noticed the ABS line had wiggled down and was resting on the shaft, and starting to wear (because the coilovers didn't have a great place to bolt them to like the stock struts). So, I wrapped them with electrical tape and zip tied them up out of the way. Now that the light is on, it sound like they might have come loose and worn enough to interfere with the electrical signal. I still have to look, but this is my best guess. If this happened, anyone know how hard that would be to fix? The problem is that it looks like the wire goes off into the engine bay and it wouldn't be that easy to get to and replace. I wonder if I could just use some crimpers and splice a new wire section in there
I would like to avoid taking it to the dealer since it wouldn't be under warranty (aftermarket parts and all) and they might freak out because I'm leasing it...
