SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT STALKERS IN VEHICLES. IT'S REALLY BECOMING PRETTY SCARY. DAY OR NIGHT I FIND GUYS RIDING MY BUMPER AND FOLLOWING ME CLOSELY JUST TO GET A GOOD LOOK AT MY CAR.

I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OTHER FEMALE MODDERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS. IF SO, HOW HAVE YOU DEALT WITH IT.

ITS ONE THING TO STARE....BUT ITS TOTALLY DIFFERENT WHEN YOU FOLLOW SOMEONE.

 

Are they trying to look at you or the car?

 

I HAVE TINTED WINDOWS.....THEY COULD BE TRYING TO DO BOTH...BUT I BELIEVE THEY ARE LOOKING AT THE CAR...

what kind of cars do they drive?? i always look if i see a girl in a modded car..

come on guys respect the lady she needs help and she is a member, i hope you are joking. well you can lose them with your max but maybe if cop sees you going fast then you are going to get a ticket. Or maybe they are friendly and they are just checking your max, i always check out other modded car but i don't go that close to the car or follow it. Hope this helps..

 

just about every car and truck you can imagine...some are modded..while others are not.....usually there is at least 2 or more guys....

 

i'm not joking at all...these guys are really getting aggressive....it happens in seattle, tacoma, olympia and portland....and everywhere else i travel.....i never lead them to my place of residence.....sometimes i avoid going to the post office...the grocery store....clubs..etc...the only place i don't mind going..is to work...we have top-notch security...so unless you work there or have legitimate business your not going to get very far on the complex.....

i continue to write down license plate numbers, make, model and car color and brief description of driver and/or passengers....but unless they do something...the cops can't really help out....i often thought about calling 9-1-1...especially if they are following for a long time...then at least the cops have something to work with....but then you have to worry about them getting revenge.....and finding your car keyed...and tires slashed...and broken windows..etc..its getting really scary....and i may have find other ways to protect myself and my car.....

 

hey hun here's how i deal w/the problem:
1) if they ride my *** i turn into an as*hole driver n tap the brakes evry few seconds til they leave me alone
2) if they are riding alongside of me, i usually give em the "c'mon n race me then" wink which usually allows me to floor it away from the stalker and gives them an even greater view of my sexy vehicle
3) in the event that i lose n this person wins, i have to give them the respectful thumbs up
4)if the stalker is in a maxima, i pull over and allow them to talk to me lol

 

Uh, something doesn't sound right in my .02. What's the big deal with a Maxima? What you describe reminds me of the Staples (?) commercial where the drivers think there's heavy traffic because all the vehicles around them have slowed down to look at the truck in all directions. You say you have tints so I don't even see how being a female has anything to do with it. President Bush told us to get on with our lives, the expression is "as you were." If you feel you can't go to the supermarket or post office, that sounds like you can't do normal things for whatever reason. It's important to feel comfortable in life. If the car is causing all this grief, I'd say get rid of it. I know that isn't what you want to hear, but what do you want us to say? A car is not worth feeling so scared to the point you can't enjoy a comfort level that others do.

 

Well, If I see a fixed up max and im going the same direction she or he is going, ill pull on right beside them and see if they want to race. If not then oh well, i just go on my own business. If its some other fixe dup car, Ill slow down to admire or ridicule but I wont follow. But yea, do what maxichic said. It sounds pretty good. Maybe your just really HOT and they want your number.

do what one of my ladies do, leave a replica gun in the car, and when they pull up to u, roll down the window and point the gun at them. just hope they dont' try to track u down and do mean things to u after u pull a gun on em'.. or learn how to drive aggressively but safely and drift freeway offramps and they'll have a hard time catching up to u.

 

This is a very dumb post. Due to the tints your sex has nothing to do with your car. If you can not live a regular life as you say then just go ahead and get rid of the car or turn it back to stock. Maxima is not exactly a unique car. They are everywhere and around here in Brooklyn,NY I probably see around 10-20 Maxima's every mile I drive. I've even pulled up to a traffic light on a random occurance only to be surrounded by Maxima's. You are freaking driving a family sedan, stop complaining and wasting bandwidth with this crap. On a different note, I pulled up to a full body kit, exhaust that sounded very bad but was loud enough to make me go deaf, lowered the whole deal Honda Accord. I don't know if he wanted to race but I kept taunting him and at the light all I here is his exhaust extremly loud, ofcourse I just turn off the OD torque to 2 rpm and take em. He stayed till 30 at my rear view mirror but then I just left him. Freaking loud POS.

That is a really BAD idea! If you want to go to jail for aggravated assault, go for it. If you want someone to pull a gun and shoot you because they think you are trying to shoot at them, go for it. If you want the other car to swerve into oncoming traffic and kill a family of five because they think you are going to shoot them, then go for it.

IF NOT, THEN DON'T EVER DO THIS!!!

(By the way, I am a Reserve Police Officer, and I witnessed a shooting where another police officer shot a man with a fake gun...)

 

Maybe people don't like your driving?

 

If you feel you're in no real danger, I say just continue on your way and let them look at the car.

But if you feel you might be threatened, I say drive to a police station or a trooper station or even just a large mall with lots of people.

I agree, there's got to be more to this. Unless these guys know who you are beforehand? Why not pull over in a populated area and ask one of them, "why are you following me?". Then you can find out if it is because of your irresistable beauty or your Modded Max.

If your car is heavily modded visually, I suppose you could go back to a more calm, OEM-look to take attention away from it. Finding a place to live where you can park in a garage wouldn't hurt either, so you wouldn't have to worry as much about your car's safety from say, people following you to find out where you live. I can't believe it'd be a problem to the point where you wouldn't want to drive anywhere.

 

So, no matter what city you are in, where you are going, or what street you are on, out of the blue guys just start following you? Every time you get in your car, guys start following you? I don't know, this just doesn't sound right to me. If this is the case, I would do like others have said...drive to the nearest police station.

 

If i saw maxichic driving i'd be sure to pull her over. I dunno what Turtle looks like so i couldn't say.
