N34JZ hit the nail right on the head. MaximaRider's sig is a nice one. The girl looks good and she's all pretty and hey, who wouldn't want to see a girl in a bikini!

Unfortunately, it's not work-safe. I've noticed a tread lately to make sigs bigger and badder and more pretty. (After all, us moderators stifle all other creative outlets on this forum.)

Having a girl in the background or off to the side or whatever may be fine. But having a girl plastered directly in the center of a sig in a bikini is a no-no.

Sorry to make an example out of MaximaRider, but I felt that this issue needed to be brought up with the entire community.

And to the old-schoolers, yes, Vic's sig was the best and no one could top it. But unfortunately, that's what got the "Nickalodeon rule" started also.

I think it's time for a reminder to everyone that many people surf Maxima.org during the day. While some work places don't care what sites you visit, some work places do and having a boss walk by when you have a half-naked chick on the screen might not go over too well.

cliffnotes: Help your fellow Maxima owners out and when you make a sig, try to make it work-safe. Half-naked chicks in the center of a sig is not worksafe.

Seriously, these guys with women in their sigs (and Clee's sig with his dreamdate) have got to realize that a lot of Org members are forced to browse the forums while "working" at their jobs, because I.. I mean, *they* have a sick addiction to the forums.
Be considerate of these unfortunate souls, who must pretend to do work while hiding the Maxima.org window from their bosses and coworkers.

Clee I already knew that from my old post. As soon as Sprite mentioned it I changed it back to my non-hot-girl-barley-clothed-in-the-middle-of-a-picture-of-my-car sig and it has been kept like that since.

Yes, I know. And thank you. I know I could have PMed everyone and tell them that their sig pics are somewhat inappropriate, but then other people might do the same thing.

Basically, I just wanted to remind everyone that people browse at work and to try and keep their sigs work-safe.

 

I just needed examples of people with women in their sigs. Didn't necessarily have to be non-worksafe.
