I'd keep it the way it is.

I remember when I was waiting to get my SFCs installed, I was sitting on a stone bench around 1.5 ft. high. I was behind my Maxima and I thought that the car would look much cleaner without a spoiler.

Don't be like every other Max SE

It looks nice without one but to me it seems like something is missing. Personally, I like the look of maximas with a spoiler much better.

a spoiler would "complete" the look of your car I think it would help to get a spoiler but nothing wild....

Normally I would jump on yes...

But Lawrence (?) your car looks so good with the kit and no spoilers I say no. Maybe hold out until Shadow's Type-II comes out and see how you like that.

Seeings as how I'm neutral/accepting of the styling on 4th gens at best, my opinions might not be taken by others, but...

I would not consider a 4th gen without a spoiler personally. The lack of that single item breaches the other side of the curve I have...the "Performance/Styling curve". In SE trim, I can deal with the lackluster styling of my car by justifying how it performs, but missing the SE cues (front end cues, door handles, spoiler, wheels), not even the performance could bring the "curve" to the point where I would want to own the car.

I think a spoiler definately adds style to the already "boring" read end of our cars. I'm really glad I got a spoiler on mine, because it looks A LOT better IMO than it would without one.

I don't really want one for myself...

But if I had to get one, I'd see if I could fit one of the tiny 'lip' spoilers for the '94-'97 Accords. It has it's own clean, subdued style that I like.

Re: I don't really want one for myself...

my car will be out of the shop in the next week or so and i'll post pics with my spoilerless max.. i love it, because it's different, i am not a huge fan of wings and spoilers so i guess my opinion is biased.

I think you should get a spoiler. I think it looks awesome with a spoiler, especially with a kit.

*thumbs up*

When we're done, let's crash our twin cars into each other head-on at top speed. The paradox of something smashing into itself with such great foce will no doubt create a rift in the universe that will allow Lord Satan and his demonic army to infiltrate this pathetic dimension!

Oh who am I kidding, we wouldn't have the illusion of speed and downforce required for a stunt like that. I guess a couple of identical SE's will have to be the Dark-Bringers.

Any year Maximas are one of the few 4 door cars that look hella good with a spoiler (stock of course!) IMO.

My opinion is that every car looks better with a spoiler, as long as you find the right one for that car.
