I've been lurking on the altimas board for a little while.....suffice to say it's so thick in there you can barely cut the ignorance with a knife.

Ha ha! I didn't realize brother(formerly) Russ was there! Things could definitely get interesting then! I've been there since for a while but rarely post..some of the threads are wickedly ridiculous!

Seeing as how I have those oil results sitting in front of me, you would think I would know that.

Russ,

On the Altima and the Town & Country, I need the following:

- When you purchased it (new, used, date, mileage, etc.)
- Oil history (oil you have used, oil filters you have used, typical oil intervals, etc.)
- Oil consumption, if any
- Driving conditions (miles per year, hard/easy driving, type of driving in city and highway, track usage, etc.)

Since they are so new, I could probably put two and two together, but I just want to make sure.

Please e-mail that to me when you get the chance.

Thanks.

1) Both were purchased new at the same time. 14 months ago to be exact.
2) Town and Country has used Frams sure grips (yes I know but he won't listen to what I tell him to use). Altima used Fram at the 1st oil change, and he used a Nissan filter for the 2nd oil change which was the last test I gave you. I had extra SR20DE filters which fit both cars.
3) No oil consumption on either.
4) 6500-7k miles a year they average. Both. Altima gets EASY driving, extremly easy. I rarely sees over 4k, when it does it takes either mother or me to give it a good run because the car coughs when we drive it, but afterwards it runs better and my dad even sees that. But he refuses to drive it harder. lol. Town and Country, stop n go driving, short trips, and driven normal. See's highway about 40% and city 60%. Altima see's it about 70% highway and 30% not.

Russ,

I found the Town and Country results locally on my drive, just had it in the wrong directory. I think I have all the info I need from you.

Okay, I think I left my sanity at home today.
