This is reguarding your stereo's...

I am planning on installing 2 JL Audio W-0s in my car but I am debating over 10" or 12".

So...Maxed Bandit, I noticed you have 10".
Are you happy with them?
How do they sound?
Do you have a lot of bass?

Ryan93SE, you have the 12".
Are you happy with yours?

I don't want too much bass because I rode in my friends car which had a lot of bass and I had a headache after getting out of there. I want to get a nice system with some pretty good bass, but not too much!! Just wanted your guys opinions on your subs.

i love the way mine sound.....

they hit real deep bass lines and pick up some higher bass lines too..... i think the 10s hit a little cleaner,(dont get me wrong.. my twelves are extremly clean) but the 12s put out richer deeper bass. ... anyways i get alot of bass out of mine and think they sound great....btw i listen to everything from rap to metallica... these subs do a great job in any kind of music... i would go with the 12s .. you can always turn the bass down

I love my 10's...

They don't get as loud as 12's would, but I opted for the cleaner sounding, lower volume woofers. Oh yeah, couldn't afford the 12's either...heh heh heh. They hit really hard and they have great rolling bass, but like I said, just not as loud as 12's. And I'm also starting to get headaches once in a while with my box. Hope this helps.

If you don't want "too much bass", then why are you planning on getting 2 subs? That will definetly be too much bass. One 12 is all you need.

Got mine from a store locally (South Cali) for $600 including install. It originally had a PPI 2300 amp, but they mounted it upside-down and it blew out, so they replaced it with a 2400 Limited for no extra charge!! The thing I regret is I didn't get a custom box, and the box I have right now is pretty damned ugly.
