What needs to be fixed on your car right now?

What needs to be fixed on your car right now?

Mine (1995 GXE auto with 155000 miles) needs:

knock sensor
rear window regulator
hood struts
finish removing black vinyl from door pillars
new switches in console
interior fuse panel door
front floor mats
left C-pillar interior trim
lights in hazard and rear defrost switches
wiper blades
at least 10 major dents and dings
new paint
radar detector mount
coolant recovery resevoir
console lid latch
transmission rebuild

That's just the crap that needs to be fixed or replaced, no wonder I have no money for mods...

1)Cruise Control
2)Reverse Lights
3)Cig Lighter
4)Intake

...and I think my AC is f#cked up..it has been making noise off and on while the AC is on...it never did it before..sounds like water piping in a house. I can't find a blown fuse for my cig lighter so I donno why it isn't working, and my popcharger is connected to my mid-pipe by 1 bolt...it's a damn generic adapter..I guess I need to drill sommore holes in that 'peice.

I just need a new knock sensor, oh and I also think I need new Leather seats (leatherseats.com), and my struts and shocks feel like their going soon so I guess I need some sprint springs, and KYB AGX shocks. I also need a new air filter so may as well spring for a Frankencar w/Apexi filter also!

I got my whole car un-dented for $179 at dent wizard in June becuase they gave me a birthday special . They did a superb job..it would probubly cost around $250 for you to get your car undented @ dent wizard. (not including roof)

Birthday special? My birthday is in 5 days I want a special deal! And do you have an idea of how much the roof would run? And they didn't have to drill and plug any holes did they?

4 dents, and fortunately for me:

1 is on the roof (hail)
1 is on the driver door
1 is on the passenger door
1 is on the hood (hail)

I'm waiting until the end of winter to get them banged out.
I also need to change the engine oil and transmission fluid. Amsoil and Redline, take my money $$$$.

Well, the woman who gave me my estamate was really nice and gave me the discount. I doubt it's a storewide policy, just a deal down here. If you drive down here to Winter Park FLA they will hook you up

Absolutely no drills! They took out my door panels and smoothed/heated them from the inside out. The rear part of my car costed a little more because it was harder to access (trunk) RPMaxima who lives close to me had his done for his birthday a month after me, and got a discount too I think. PM him if you want more proof of the good job of Dent Wizard.

For the roof, I'd guess they'd have to take apart the top of your interior. It will be more expensive then the doors. The doors are the easiest and cheapest of them all.

- front struts
- possibly other small front suspension parts
- muffler, possibly other exhaust piping
- door trim has some wear on it - don't care
- rear drivers side door has two non-paint-effected dings from some drunken teenagers deciding to play WWF against it, partially repaired - dont really care
- need something under my alpine for the gap
- need to look at the brakes
- clutch sometime in the forseeable future - dont care, yet.
- have seen a miniscule hole or three in the leather - don't care

The only money I ever see going into this car besides the normal monthly payment is to fix the things I actually care about. At 21 with rent, bills, and all that other fun stuff, modding a car with 95k on it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

-Rear Heated O2 Sensor (Not sure if it needs to be replaced or not)
-Knock Sensor (Possibly, but I'm not 100% sure)
-New Brakes (soon)
-60K Service needs to be done
-Push-open Coin Holder/Ash Tray (Needs to be replaced)
-Dings in Hood, Roof, and on Passenger Side
-Front Bumper & Grille Repaint (Stupid Mesh Grille)

Right now I'm at 62,100 miles. I better get on that 60K service ASAP.

Now I'm depressed because I have to fix all of this and I can't buy more mods.

Later,
-Nick
