Waxing rims????????
Should I wax my rims?? I worry that the wax may hold brake dust or does the dust come off easier with the wax?? Never waxed my 99 SE rims and cleaning the dust took some abrasive cleaner. Dont want to mess up my new ride. Thanks for the input.

yeah
i do it when i wax the car
after that, for like 3 weeks you can simply wipe the dust off them with a cloth or a paper towel. Comes right off without any effort.
plus wax gives them some of that shine in the sun when it's just put on

I did not wax my rims for the fist few months I had them. That was a mistake. They look and clean up much better now that I wax them every few weeks. I would think it would only be necessary to wax painted wheels? I also use a poslih first and it looks that much better.

I've waxed my stock hubcaps and aftermarket chrome rims on my integra before. Works great to repel the brake dust and makes it easier to clean during regular washings too. Haven't done it on the Max's stock rims yet. They're easy enough to clean.
