Annoying brakes!

Lately, my brakes have been giving me these loud, metallic, squeeking sounds. I have yet to locate the source, I had my front rotors, brake pads, and calipers replaced about half a year ago. Haven't done the rear yet(which I think where the problem is), but I checked the pads and they have plenty of life left and the little metallic sensor is not even close to touching the rotor...this sound occurs every time I brake. I had a mechanic re-apply the special grease to prevent it, but it still does it. Perhaps it was cheap grease and dried up, don't know. Any ideas what the problem could be?
