This has been discussed here before. Probably any company that is in the same position as Nissan would do the same.

 

Honda did the same thing earlier this year, took on just about everyone that had Honda in their url. This url is actually nissan.com! In fact I think it reflects poorly on Nissan not to have the url for their name.
